Year R - Roma

Welcome back everyone!!

We hope you have had a great Christmas break and are raring to go. This term we are learning all about 'Space'.

We will be touching on the names of the planets, identifying where we live and our position within the solar system and we will be reading a range of space themed books.

Early Years Topic Overview 2019 - 2020

Hello and welcome to Roma's class page!

Here you will find regular updates on Roma's topics and learning as well as useful information and dates.

Miss Morgan

Welcome to all our new reception children! Everyone has settled in brilliantly into our new classroom and routines of the day. Thank you parents for supporting your children coming into school and helping them settle so quickly.

Just a reminder that we will be having PE on Mondays and Thursdays. Please ensure that children's PE kits are in school during the week and each piece of kit is named.

Our Monday PE sessions are held outside and Thursday PE sessions are in the hall. We do go outside throughout the year and in all weathers. Please ensure your child has a long pair of trousers or leggings to wear in the event of cold weather.

If you would like to take PE kits home to wash, we can remind children to take them home on Fridays. Please ensure they are back in school for Monday's Session. Thank you.

Our fantastic librarian, Mr Parkinson, visits on Thursday mornings and reads us a story from the Library. We then go and choose a library book to take home on Thursdays or Fridays. If you have read the book with your child and want it changed, pop the book into the book bag and we will change it the following week.

If you have any questions or want to speak to a member of our team, the door is always open and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for your continued support.
