Keep On Talking Project
Last year, Reception at Roman Way took part in the Hampshire Keep On Talking Project. We spent the year working on the layout of our classroom and outside area, the timetable of our school day and creating and working on activities to encourage communication.
We will continue to work on these things throughout this school year.
Our main aims are:
- to create a variety of areas in our classroom and outside area which encourage communication
- to ensure that there are plenty of opportunities to encourage good communication during our school day
- to work on different group, individual and whole class activities to encourage children to communicate with each other and with us
