Welcome to Roman Way Primary School,

The purpose of a School’s Governing body is to provide confident, strategic leadership and to create robust accountability, oversight and assurance for educational and financial performance.

The three core functions of our Governing body at Roman Way School are to:-

• Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
• Holding executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, and the performance management of staff.
• Overseeing the financial performance of the organisation and making sure its money is well spent

The Governing Body at Roman Way is dedicated to working with the Head Teacher and school staff to make the school the best it can be.  We are lucky to have a dedicated team of volunteers who offer their time and expertise freely and enthusiastically.

The Governing Body welcome dialogue with members of the school community and take every opportunity to get involved in School life. However, if you have any concerns relating to the day to day running of the school, these should in the first instance be referred to the Head Teacher, Ms Jones.
