The school is strongly committed to ensuring that all children are able to; achieve their best, become confident individuals living fulfilling lives and make a successful transition into adulthood. We are committed to providing quality learning experiences for all children. All children have the right to the best opportunities to support them to reach their full potential. Each school recognises the importance of ensuring that the curriculum is tailored as much as possible to meet the learning needs of each individual. Our aspirations apply to all children including those who may have additional needs.

Children who have additional learning needs may need more support within the classroom in order to access the curriculum. For some children, this may be long term support throughout the majority of time they are in school and for others it may mean short interventions to help them keep up with their peers. Additional needs may take the form of physical and sensory needs, communication and interaction difficulties, social and emotional difficulties or cognition and learning difficulties.
