The children are to watch the video on BBC Bitesize 'The Wild Wood' (the link is available above).

They then need to write a letter from Mole to Rat while he he hiding in the hollow of a tree persuading Rat that Mole is well and doing ok. 

Write the letter from the perspective of Mole - using the pronoun 'I',
