I have had a lot of you asking for reading books that your child can read at home. Unfortunately we are unable to give you books from the school like you would normally have. I have searched the internet and have found some e-books that your child will be able to read from home. I know that it is not the same as holding a book and turning the pages but I am hoping that it allows them to continue reading and improving their skills at home.

Please let me know what you think and how you get on with them,

Click on the Register link - after you have registered, the next time you visit the website you will click on the Login link.

Fill in your details - IT IS FREE! Click on Step 2 for the second page of details.

You will receive an email asking you to activate your account. Click on Confirm my account.

When you now login you will have this image come up.

Click on Enter site under Oxford Owl for Home.

Click on Browse eBooks.

You can either search for book by your child's age, or if they know their book band colour then you can search by that.

Choose a book to read.

Here is what your screen will look like once you have chosen a book to read. To turn the page, click on the blue arrows in the bottom right hand corner.
