Today, the children will need to cut out the tens and ones dienes on the worksheet. This will allow them to practise their fine motor skills. Please can they then watch the video which explains how dienes work.
Dienes are just a maths resource that we use to represent numbers.
The small squares represent a ones number and the tall sticks represent a tens number.
The children only need to cut out 10 tens and 10 ones.
