Hi Pomepii!

I hope that you are all doing well and that you and your family are keeping safe. I know it feels like we haven’t seen each other in a very long time but you are doing an amazing job saving the country.

Where has the beautiful sunshine gone?! The weather definitely isn't as good as what it was which is making me a bit upset, I have been enjoying reading in the sunshine and I know lots of you have been playing in your gardens.  

I hope you all enjoyed receiving a phone call from me! It’s been very hard not being able to see you all but hearing your voices put a very big smile on my face. I loved hearing all about the work you have been doing and all the fun and exciting activities you have been doing with your loved ones. I think we will have some very good bakers by the time we return to school. I love that you have been thinking out of the box and coming up with some exciting activities to keep you busy and active.

Miss Portsmouth has been reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone for you to enjoy listening to. I have uploaded them to our class page. I wonder how many of you have found them and watched them? It's one of my favourite books and I thought it would be a really nice idea for you to listen to it while you are at home. You could listen to it as a family, follow it with the book or maybe have it as a bed time story.

If you would like to do some work, there is always lots of new things being uploaded to our webpage for you to enjoy. Don't worry about doing all of it, just choose what you would interest you. I have added lots of new creative learning ideas which are all small projects you can do at home. There is lots of videos and cool websites for you to explore as well. And don’t forget to keep using times tables rockstar to practice those all-important times tables.

I hope to see all of your smiling faces soon, but only when it is safe to do so. I am missing you all so much.
