As a school, we recognise and promote the importance of communication skills. We strive to support children to effectively communicate with adults and peers within school. We assess children at various stages in order to identify any difficulties which may lie in this area. Children are then supported in various ways to improve in this vital skill.
Children may join the school with little or no English. These children will be supported to learn English at a pace that is appropriate for them whilst still retaining a link to their home language and culture.
