A message from Mr Inglis

Hello to all the wonderful children of Capri Class,

This is just a short message to all of you. I hope to get the courage up to leave a video message next time!

Most of you are now at home with parents or carers keeping yourselves and everybody else safe whilst this virus is spreading - make sure you are remembering to wash your hands and keep yourself safe.

Some of you I haven't seen for a few weeks, which has felt very strange indeed. Each one of you brings a unique and bright personality to our class - Beatles songs, constant chatter, Harry Potter talk and your laughter are just a few things I am missing. I want you to know that I am thinking of every single one of you, every single day.

I wonder who has started their home learning tasks and who has tried some of the activities that I have been putting on to our page? I will keep you up to date with the science experiment - the first pictures are already up.

I wonder who has accessed ePlatform and has borrowed a book to read or listen to?

The school has just signed up to Times Tables Rockstars - do log on and try it out. You can even challenge me if you are logged on at the same time!

I hope all of the ideas I've been adding to our page have been helpful and enjoyable. I'm sure you have all had lots of ideas of your own for learning and having fun at home. Remember to be creative and enjoy your learning, however you are doing it at home.

I miss seeing your smiling faces in the morning and I even miss the constant..."What question are we doing for the register this afternoon?"

Look after yourselves and your families. Take care - you are missed.

Mr Inglis
