At Roman Way Primary School children from all classes are encouraged to experience a wide-range of books and develop a love of reading. This term the Hampshire School Library Service have provided us with 'Ready for School', 'Moving Up' and 'Moving On' booklists, suggesting titles which will support children during their transition to the next academic year.

School Library Service -Transition Fiction
At Roman Way Primary School children from all classes are encouraged to experience a wide-range of books and develop a love of reading. This term the Hampshire School Library Service have provided us with 'Ready for School', 'Moving Up' and 'Moving On' booklists, suggesting titles which will support children during their transition to the next academic year.Intended for Year 2, Year 6 and our new Year R intake, these booklists will be sent home shortly and can also be viewed in the documents section below. A mix of new fiction and old-favourites, children will soon be able to borrow all these fantastic books from their School Library!
